Sarah Palin says she could defeat President Obama, and I don’t think she was referencing her prowess on the BBall court. In an interview with Barbara Walters, Palin said “I believe so,” when asked if she thought she could beat Obama. SaraPAC is now up and running, and soon she will be, too, if political prognosticators are correct, and they usually are.
What exactly are her qualifications again? Other than her looks, celebrity status, and brief stint as Governor of a tiny population? Palinites point to Regan as an example of the perfect blend of politics and celebrity, but Ronnie quit Hollywood to enter politics; the opposite of Palin. Ah, little details . . ..
Speaking of Alaska, Murkowski has successfully defeated The Stomper and will become the first write-in Senator in half a century. It is unclear whether Miller will continue his own private vote count in his basement, or demand that taxpayer dollars be spent on an expensive, ongoing appeal. Gee, doesn’t sound too fiscally Teabag conservative of him . . . .
We’ll discuss news OUTSIDE Alaska as well on the program tonight!
