The Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA is just outside Centralia.  With it’s nature theme and kid-friendly activities, it’s the perfect place for kids to swim and splash away their winter wiggles.  The indoor water park is a warm 84 degrees inside, with wave pools, spray toys and water slides for kids and parents alike.  There are also amenities just for adults, like the lodge’s gym and spa.  There are daytime activities in the Cub Club, and bedtime stories in the evening, to close out a fun-filled and active day.  With family suites and four passes to the waterpark starting at $319.99 on selected dates over spring break, it’s an option worth considering. http://www.greatwolf.com

Do you have a rising soccer star at your house?  Seattle Sounders FC is hosting a soccer camp for kids aged 7-15 at three locations: Everett, Arlington and Tukwila.  The half day program lets kids focus on a skill a day, as well as dig their cleats in for some serious fun.  The full day program gives kids extra time with the coaches, and play larger games and scrimmages.  The half day camp is just $150, April 4-8.  Register online at http:// www.soundersfc.com.

Just on the other side of the mountains, Campbell’s resort at Lake Chelan is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2011, and they are whooping it up by creating some great package deals.  The Family Fun Spring Break Package, good thru April 17, gives your family an overnight at the resort, a $20 dining credit, and a family gift basket.  Prices start at $139.  And while you’re there, why not hit the slopes at nearby Mission Ridge?  Military families are always offered a skiing discount, and through April, there are special deals on lift tickets if you gas up at participating stations.  Check out http://www.campbellsresort.com and http://www.missionridge.com for details.
