Seattle Center Whirligig! offers amusement for all pre-teen ages! Kids can glide, slide and ride on super-cool, super-sized inflatable rides. Eye-popping colors, face painters and balloon artists add to the mix of non-stop fun that keeps kids coming back for more! A special Toddler Zone is also available.

“American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell” celebrates the full range of Rockwell’s artwork, including 44 paintings and 323 original Saturday Evening Post covers. In addition to the artworks on view, materials from the Museum’s archives depict how Rockwell worked: from preliminary sketches, photographs, color studies, and detailed drawings to the finished painting.
Hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 10am – 5pm

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

The flowers are all in full bloom. There are art fairs and a salmon bake on April 24. Lots to see and do in Mt. Vernon and La Conner.
Hours: Gardens open at 9:00am. RoozenGaarde closes at 7:00pm; Tulip Town closes at 5:30 pm.
Prices: $5 per adult per garden; children 10 and under are free at RoozenGaarde, children 16 and under are free at Tulip Town.

Egg hunts for ages 1 to 8 (between 10:00am and 2:00pm), crafts, bunny encounters, Easter baskets of treats for the animals (orangutans are fed first at 10:00am and around the zoo until the tamarins at 2:30pm).
