Winthrop ’49er Days
Winthrop, WA 98862
(Located on Highway 20/North Cascade Highway in the heart of Washington State’s Cascade Loop Scenic Highway, just under 200 miles from either Seattle or Spokane.)
It’s the 66th annual ’49er Days Celebration. This year’s theme is “Mining the Past”. Winthrop will be filled with living history when packers and pack trains, cowboys, cowgirls, and an entire wagon train all converge for three days of western events and fun.
(From Olympia go north on US Highway 101 to Sequim. Take the Washington St., Sequim Ave. or River Rd. exits to take you into Sequim.)
This year we will have more events and more community involvement than ever, making it a spectacular festival. It’s the oldest festival in Washington, honoring its past with arts and crafts, a motorcycle display, logging show and more.
