Shop to Make a Difference for Women

For seven years, Shop to Make a Difference at University Village has generously supported the Hutchinson Center, accelerating our lifesaving research. This year, contributions from Shop to Make a Difference purchases support research of breast, cervical and ovarian cancers.

On May 13, 14 and 15, 2011, University Village will host its annual Shop to Make a Difference promotion. During these three days, customers who purchase a Cure Card for $25, are entitled to a 20 percent discount at participating University Village stores and restaurants all weekend.  The proceeds from the sale of the cards benefit women’s cancer research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle.

Volunteers are needed to help sell Cure Cards at University Village between May 13-15.  All volunteers will receive a FREE Cure Card. To volunteer or for more information please contact Rachelle McCallum at 206.667.5242 or rmccallu@fhcrc.org.

For information on the stores participating in the 20% discount, go to the University Village website at http://www.uvillage.com/events/.
