Northwest Coffee Festival in Time for Father’s Day
The Northwest Coffee Festival will bring together coffee lovers, baristas and roasters to get their caffeine buzz on while tasting and celebrating coffee in Seattle. If your dad is a coffee lover then he’s in luck – and so are you. At the Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion on Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19, you will smell the brew and taste yourself silly in a wonderland of coffee from around the Northwest.
Featuring espresso bars, slow-pour coffee bars, live music, a history of espresso machines exhibit, farm to cup exhibits, and hands-on demonstrations, you’ll also experience several of Seattle’s favorite chocolate dessert companies and savory food chefs with great foods and sweets to try. The festival includes a NW Beer, Wine, and Cider garden for the 21+ crowd.
Watch an up close barista demonstration on how your favorite drinks are made. Then enjoy a slow poured coffee at the roaster’s bar, or an espresso at a micro-brew stand. Tickets are $12/person in advance at http://www.brownpapertickets.com, or $15/person at the door.
