Move heroically at Green Lake this Saturday afternoon, June 11th where the DailyTicket crew from the Seattle metro will be doing a 1-hour Power Vinyasa class with Kristin Haberly. A $5 donation per person will go to benefit the Summer Reading Extravaganza Book Sale on June 25th from 9am – 5pm, put on by Friends of The Seattle Public Library.

Meet at the Starbucks between 71st St & 72nd Street.  Check in, hang for a bit in your yoga wear, then proceed across the street to the park. Kristin will lead a spirited bout of Power Vinyasa yoga, promising a good stretch and a great sweat. Kristin has been an athlete since she was very young, and found yoga as a way to revivify herself after hours of rough-and-tumble soccer, running, and punching the Puget Sound for its sheer impudence. She was certified by the Baron Baptiste Yoga Institute in 2009 and is set to complete a 200-hour teacher training by 2011 or 2012.

Though all proper salutations to the sun, we foresee a rain free day, be sure to bring plenty of water along with your mat.
