Fisher Plaza is officially for sale and was recently appraised at $142 million, according to a report by Globest.com, ending six-months of rumors that Fisher Communications has been looking to sell it’s headquarter building.
In March, the broadcast company hired Moelis & Co. as a financial adviser to find out how much the plaza might fetch.
Fisher Plaza is the 293,727-square-foot headquarters of Fisher Communications, which owns KOMO TV and other online, TV and radio properties. Fisher Plaza also houses a data center that has served clients such as Bing Travel, Redfin and other local companies.
Fisher is putting its HQ complex up for sale during a time when shareholders — unhappy with their investment returns – have been trying to take control of the publicly traded company, according to Techflash.com.
