Want to feel like you are in free flight on the ground? Try iFly Seattle, a realistic indoor skydiving experience in Tukwila. It’s getting set to open on August 15, but you can make your flight plans today. iFly has six other locations, including Singapore and Dubai. Seattle’s iFly will be the first in Washington.

What happens on your flight? You will soar on a column of air inside a vertical wind tunnel. iFLY uses superior technology and is unique. Using multiple fans at the top of the flight chamber, a wall-to-wall airflow is produced that is smooth and fun to fly in. The air flow is totally controllable. You will go through a pre-flight safety class and be fitted with all the equipment you need for your flight. With professional instructors, iFly makes for the most exciting flight experience possible. iFLY is not a ride or a simulator, it’s actually flying!

Flyers do not need any previous experience to fly. At iFLY, you will learn how to fly your body in a controlled manner with the assistance of your instructor. Skydivers love freefall because it’s the closest possible thing to true human flight. Now everyone can experience the same exhilaration, in a safe environment, in full view of family and friends!

Cost to fly ranges between $59.95 and $249.95. Group packages are available. It takes about two hours to complete the flight. iFly will be open seven days a week. You can find out more information at http://www.iflyseattle.com.
