Kent Station’s Soulful Sounds of Summer Free Concerts

The concerts are free, so come out and enjoy at Kent Station. And plan to help Kent’s Food Bank during the concerts, by bringing donations of food, clothing, or cash.  Or you can purchase organic cotton tote bags and organic cotton t-shirts, both are $10 and all proceeds are donated to the Kent Food Bank.

Here’s the concert line-up:

Wednesday, August 3: Swing Session Big Band. A 17 piece band, music from the Rat Pack, and a lot of swing.
6:00pm – 8:00pm

Tuesday, August 9: Quarter Past 8. This Seattle-based quartet performs bluesy, folk rock originals and covers.
12:00pm – 1:00pm

Wednesday, August 10: The Diamond Experience. Neil Diamond’s hits and other great music from the 60s and 70s.
6:00pm – 8:00pm

Tuesday, August 16: Bobby Medina. Seattle’s only Smooth Latin Jazz trumpeter takes audiences on an action packed musical adventure through the Americas and beyond. From romantic ballads and soulful tunes to fiery dance rhythms, this show redefines Latin music.
12:00pm – 1:00pm

Wednesday, August 17: Knut Bell. Rockabilly classic country and original country with a Northwest Twang.
6:00pm – 8:00pm

Wednesday, August 24: Little Bill and the Blue Notes. Three Piece Blues Band, has been swinging in Seattle since the ’50s.
6:00pm – 8:00pm

Wednesday, August 31: GunShy. Your favorite classic rock, by Kent’s own band!
6:00pm – 8:00pm
