It is a celebration of all things cat! The Seattle Humane Society’s Bellevue campus is kicking off its 6th annual cat adoption extravaganza Saturday and Sunday, August 13-14, from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Sponsored by 94.1 KMPS, Catapalooza brings together 10 local adoption organizations and rescue groups for cat adoptions, prize drawings, children’s activities, and fun cat-related demonstrations and products.
It’s a family-friendly, two-day event at the Humane Society in Bellevue, 13212 SE Eastgate Way - Bellevue, WA 98005.
There will be face-painting and crafts for kids, several kitten tents, and educational presentations. Even the shelter’s dogs get into the act, sporting bandanas that say, “Adopt a Cat!”
Activities both days will include:
- Tellington Touch (TTouch) for Cats healing bodywork demonstrations.
- Face painting, cat-toy making and education stations for kids.
- Expert cat advice and information.
- MaxMobile adoption vehicle on site with our special cats on board.
- Cat-centric art, treats, leashes, collars and more!
