Seattle Humane Society’s Walk for the Animals and FidoFEST
Help orphaned animals in the community by registering to walk and asking friends and family to donate! The walk, on Sunday, September 25, is approximately 2.25 miles (or an optional 1-mile route) starting at University Village and going through the Union Bay Natural Area Trails. Enjoy stops along the route for water (for people and pets!) or have your photo taken at the Photo Stop. After the Walk, stay for FidoFEST, a dog-centric afternoon, from 11am to 4pm with contests, kid’s activities, adoptable animals, pet-related vendors and more all to benefit the animals at Seattle Humane Society.
Sunday, September 25
Meet at University Village
2623 NE University Village Street
Seattle, WA 98105

Walk for the Animals – 9:00am to 11:00am
FidoFEST – 11:00am to 4:00pm
There is a $30 Registration Fee for each participant (adult and youth). Each registered walker will receive a walk t-shirt and one pet bandana. Additional bandanas are available for purchase. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome at the event, and on the walk! Keep in mind that approximately 1,000 dogs will be in attendance, so other types of pets are not recommended. Try creating t-shirts, posters, or bring a photo of your pet for the walk! Walk for the Animals is a family-friendly event and children are welcome in all areas. FidoFEST is open to the general public from 11-4pm and you do not need to be registered to attend.
