Smithsonian Says it’s a Fine Time to Visit a Local Museum FREE!

Thanks to the Smithsonian in Washington DC, there is a nationwide Museum Day on Saturday, September 24. Museums all over the country… and Washington State… are giving away free entry tickets! So why not put a little culture in your life?

Here are the rules, according to the Smithsonian Mag website:
Only an official Museum Day ticket is eligible for free entry. One ticket per household, for two people. A ticket will gain entry to only one of the participating museums, excluding parking and special events and exhibits. If a museum reaches capacity, museum has right to limit the number of guests until space becomes available.

In Washington, museums like the Seattle Art Museum, Burke Museum, Museum of Glass, Museum of Flight and Wing Luke Museum are just some of the many museums that are taking part in this special day.
