LAKEWOOD (CBS Seattle) - Three Washington teenagers have been arrested in connection to the robberies and sexual assault at bikini barista stands, according to KIRO-TV.
Lakewood police tell the station that the teens went on a robbing spree at four different bikini barista stands.
It began last Tuesday when a robber entered the Déjà Brew coffee stand, held a knife to a worker’s neck and took cash. Police say they saw it all on the video surveillance recorder.
On Wednesday, a similar incident happened and the man matched the same description as the robber before. A 16-year-old young man was held at gunpoint atPhillips Road Southwest and Steilacoom Boulevard Southwest. This time the robber took a tablet computer.
At the Bikini Bottom Espresso in the 10500 block of Bridgeport Way Southwest last Thursday, police say a man sexually assaulted a barista, stole money and held her and a customer at gunpoint. Authorities also told the station that one of the robbers stood outside to be the lookout.
Police tell the station that a 15-year-old boy was the robber at the four baristas. An 18-year-old and a 19-year-old were also taken into custody.
Officers obtained a “realistic” pellet gun at the apartment where the three were arrested, along with surveillance videos recorders which were taken from the robberies.
