Ever see a ridiculous old “B” movie like the Creature from the Black Lagoon and poke fun at it? How about watching it while comedians re-tell the story with unscripted improv? That’s what Twisted Flicks is all about.

Experience a classic, cheesy “B” movie on a full-sized, in-house movie screen (like, well, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, for example). The sound is turned off, and a talented team of improvisers with microphones creates all new dialog for the characters in the movie LIVE. It’s completely improvised! And the audience gets to participate and offer suggestions for the improv!

Each night, the picture may be the same, but the movie is completely different, because no two comedy improv routines are the same. The show is fun, fast-paced, funny and suitable for all ages, according to the Twisted Flicks website.

A different movie is “performed” the last weekend of each month. This weekend, October 27 – 29, it’s the 1958 “B” Classic, The Blob, starring Steve McQueen. Check out for more information, and tickets. Each showing is at 8:00pm.

Wing-It Productions is located at 5510 University Way NE in Seattle.
