One Ballard Pub Offers Pints for Parks

Pints for Parks is the idea behind The Noble Fir‘s Wednesday special. Each Wednesday, between October 26 and January 25, $1 from every pint sold (between 6:30pm and close) will benefit King County Parks’ Big Backyard Program!

The Big Backyard Program, according to King County’s website, offers the community more than 26,000 acres of parks and natural lands, including such regional treasures as Marymoor Park and Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park, 175 miles of regional trails and a world-class aquatic center. By cultivating strong relationships with non-profit, corporate and community partners, King County Parks enhances park amenities while reducing costs. Learn more at http://www.kingcounty.gov/parks/.

As an active promoter of people getting outside and breathing in some fresh air, I LOVE this initiative. Well done. Now, all I need to do is move to Seattle! LOL. Good luck folks.

    1. We liked the idea, too, Michelle! Cheers!
