Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday, November 6 at 2:00am. At that time all clocks need to “fall back” one hour. So your best bet is to set your clocks back one hour before bed on Saturday night, November 5.
At this time of year, the US Fire Administration (USFA) encourages you to mark the end of Daylight Savings as a time to test your home smoke alarms and replace the batteries if they’re more than one year old. Also, check your carbon dioxide detectors and make sure your family has a fire escape plan.
We’ll get to “spring forward” again on Sunday, March 11, 2012.
