Three different runs on the same day! Frosty’s 5K Run & Walk, The Grinch 10K Solo Run & Relay and Tiny Tim’s 1K Kid’s Run. Benefitting the Humane Society of Tacoma and Pierce County, it’s the third annual run on Tacoma’s scenic waterfront. The 5K run is dog and stroller-friendly. There’s a costume contest for the best dressed Christmas Character, a visit from Santa, a canned food drive for FISH Food Banks of Pierce County, and an after party at Dock Street Pub.

Yes it’s the last mile of the year, so get your decorated hats, shoes, costumes on to kick 2011 to the curb. This event will lead the First Night kick-off parade. The event will begin just before the First Night parade, and runs in a big loop on Broadway, ending at Varsity Grill. After the run, show your race number at Varsity Grill and receive a free beverage.
