Puget Sound has some of the best holiday parades around to help you get into the spirit of the season! Here are some of our favorites!

My Macy’s Holiday Parade
Friday, November 25
9:00am – 10:00am
7th Avenue and Pine
Downtown Seattle

Straight from the North Pole, Santa Claus will be spreading joy and good cheer as he winds his way through the streets of downtown Seattle. Accompanied by Macy’s unique inflatable floats, costumed characters, and local community groups, Santa will lead the parade to the downtown Macy’s where he will open Santaland at 11:00am for the 2011 holiday season.

The My Macy’s Holiday Parade will move down Pine Street, turn south on 5th Avenue, west on University, and north on 4th Avenue where it will end at the Macy’s store. The parade lasts approximately one hour. Those wishing to secure curbside seating are encouraged to arrive early.

Featuring more than 23 inflatable floats, local school and community marching bands, drill teams, sports team and over 500 costumed characters. Plus, there will be new costumes from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York!

Bellevue Snowflake Lane

Bellevue Snowflake Lane premiers November 26, when Santa makes his grand arrival for the holidays at Bellevue Square. Experience the holiday magic with the annual celebration of Snowflake Lane along the sidewalks of Bellevue Way & NE 8th at The Bellevue Collection, in the heart of Downtown Bellevue. Magical snow falls nightly as live toy soldiers and winter characters, music, and a dazzling light show brighten the night and warm your heart. New this year are more characters to join in the Snowflake Lane fun including a Snow Queen and King, Sugar Plum Fairies and Mice!

Winterfest Parade

See the Winterfest Parade and the Kent Mayor present Santa with the key to the city. Kids of all ages can enjoy the Holiday Story Time, a giveaway from Downtown Merchants, ornament making , and riding on a carousel. Listen to local choirs and school bands performing holiday classics and carols. Warm yourself with drinks and snacks. At 5:30pm see the lighting of the 40 foot Christmas Tree and the lighting of the entire Town Square while listening to music.

Santa Parade & Tree Lighting

Downtown Auburn

A festive and fun children’s parade, followed by community caroling and the lighting of the City Hall Christmas Tree.

Hometown Santa Parade
Saturday, December 3
Downtown Sumner

Bring the kids to see Santa, enjoy the live music, see the floats, and have fun with the holiday cheer! The Parade will start at the Sumner High School parking lot and travel Westbound along Main Street to Kincaid Avenue.

Mill Creek’s Santa’s Coming to Town Parade and Tree Lighting

musical performances by Jackson High School Jazz Band & Drumline, Disney characters, Carolers, and Santa & his Elves. Photos with Santa at the Forum in Town Center. Bring your camera!

Lighted Santa Parade
Saturday, December 3
5:00pm – 6:00pm
Downtown Puyallup

Bring the kids down to welcome Santa! See the jolly old elf arrive on one of Puyallup’s finest fire engines. Afterwards visit the Pioneer Park Pavilion for ice skating at Holiday on Ice and watch as the City lights the Community Tree in Pioneer Park! This wonderful community tradition is a great way to kick off the holiday season!
