In a bipartisan effort to “help put Washington back to work”, Washington Congressman Dave Reichert (R) and Represenative Adam Smith (D) are jointly hosting a Helping Identify Real Employment (HIRE) for America Jobs Fair on Tuesday, November 22, at the ShoWare Center in Kent. The event runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The two say they are working together on this venture because they have heard from their constituents and businesses that there needs to be an “environment for economic growth and work across party lines to create jobs” according to the event Facebook page.
Over 80 companies will be represented. And according to the HIRE for America Facebook page, you should be prepared to meet directly with the employers. You’re encouraged to bring plenty of resumes.
There is no cost to attend the Jobs Fair, and you do not have to register in advance. Parking at the ShoWare Center is free. There is a Park and Ride Lot about 1 block west of the event center.
Food and drink will be available throughout the event at concessions stands on the concourse of the ShoWare Center.
ShoWare Center is located at:
