Dance Fremont! is presenting its 15th season of Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved tale: The Steadfast Tin Soldier, A Story Ballet. An alternative to the Nutcracker, this holiday show features fantastical masks, costumes and puppets by Fremont artists, magical midnight and underwater scenes, and enchanting dancing toys and sea creatures. This well-kept secret is a holiday extravaganza for the entire family – boys and girls, young and old.

See seventy local dancers under the direction of choreographer and DanceFremont! founder, Vivian Little. Composer/lyricist/librettist Kathleen Mills leads a live ensemble of talented youth musicians. Storytelling by Seattle actress Bryar Golden in the role of Nana incorporates Signing Exact English, a child-oriented sign language, making the story easy to follow and accessible for all.

Tickets are $15/person. Parking is free at the Shorecrest Performing Arts Center.

Showtimes are:
Saturday, December 10 – 2:00pm and 7:30pm
Sunday, December 11 – 2:00pm

For tickets, call 206.633.0812 Ext. 3 or buy at the door.
