SIFF hosts Gary Oldman, British actor best known for playing evil characters, like Sirius Black in the Harry Potter series. He’ll be in person on Sunday, December 11 at SIFF Cinema at the Uptown, for an intimate screening of the acclaimed feature film version of John le Carré’s classic bestselling novel Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy at 5:30pm, followed by an onstage interview and Q&A session.
A limited number of tickets are available for an exclusive dinner reception with Mr. Oldman. The dinner will take place at the Volterra Drawing Room immediately following the screening event at 8:30pm and will be prepared by award-winning chef, Don Curtiss of Volterra Restaurant in Ballard. Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is the long-awaited feature film version of John le Carré’s classic bestselling novel. The thriller is directed by Tomas Alfredson (Let the Right One In). The screenplay adaptation is by the writing team of Bridget O’Connor & Peter Straughan. It hits theatres on Friday, December 9.
