Christmas Rush Fun Run 5K and 10K

Both the 10K and 5K are certified and chip timed by BuDu Racing. Highlights include live holiday music performed by the Kentwood High School band, random prizes and awards for the top five finishers in each age group. All ages welcome.

Come experience the weird and wonderful and finish if off with a beer! This run begins at the Waiting for Interurban statue and continues through Fremont where you’ll see the ‘Statue of Lenin’, a magical chocolate factory, the sign post at the Center of the Universe, the Fremont Troll and MUCH more! Best of all we will end at the local Fremont Brewing Company where you are welcome to enjoy a delicious BEER. Leashed pets welcome.

Run or walk the 5K route, and make sure your children don’t miss the 1K Run with the Elves! The Jingle Bell Run/Walk is celebrating 27 years of family fun, holiday tradition and most importantly – raising funds in the name of preventing, controlling and curing arthritis. More than $500,000 has been raised thus far! Even if you’re not running, come grab a coffee and watch this festive race with your family, you don’t want to miss it!

Looking for some holiday-inspired urban adventure running? Street Scramble is hosting their final event of 2011 this Sunday, starting at Pike Place Market. You’ll have two hours to find, on foot, up to 30 checkpoints around downtown Seattle! You can run in teams of 1-5 people. Online registration is $20 per person (discounts available for kids/families).
