2012 is the Year of the Dragon, the mightiest of signs in the Chinese zodiac. The Chinese New Year, also known as the Lunar New Year, occurs every year on the new moon of the first lunar month, about four to eight weeks before spring. There are many celebrations around Seattle to mark the new year.
