Gusty Winds Knock Out Power In Snohomish County

MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) — Gusty winds knocked out power to as many as 9,000 households in northwest Washington’s Snohomish County and Camano Island.

Snohomish County Public Utility District spokesman Mike Thorne said that was the total at the peak of the windy weather Monday evening.

By 11 p.m., power had been restored to all but about 4,000 customers.
