If you made a New Year’s resolution to exercise, or if you want to get back into training mode for this spring, here are some fun runs and rides. A few even support local charities!

Nookachamps 1/2 Marathon, 10K and 5K

It’s the 31st annual Nookachamps, voted best winter run in all of the Northwest. Certified 13.1 Mile Half is a great pre-season indicator of fitness. Warm gym and showers, plentiful food and nice awards. Affordable 5K and 10K are part of the event.

The Stinky Spoke Poker Charity Bike Ride

18.5 mile loop on the Tolt Pipeline/Trilogy/ Watershed/ Powerline/Sammamish River trails, with playing-card stops along the way, all on the worst weather day of the year! Best hands at the end win prizes. Each participant will get a Stinky Spoke Beanie, beer glass and a beer at the after-party. Proceeds benefit Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center!
