This is the last chance to see the Smithsonian traveling exhibition Black Wings: American Dreams of Flight before it closes and the only day to view the Washington State Moon Rock, an incredible artifact that is seldom on display. There will be kids’ activities, performances and interactive retellings of the Tuskegee Airmen’s missions during WWII.

There will bpresentation by retired NASA astronaut Dr. Bernard Harris, the first African American to walk in space, and local chapter representatives of the Tuskegee Airmen, a special division of African American fighter pilots who fought in World War II. Following the program Dr. Harris will sign copies of his autobiography Dream Walker.
