Emergency Shelters Open on Eastside

As a life-line to the homeless and stranded travelers, the cities of Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland and Issaquah have partnered with contractors, Congregations for the Homeless and The Sophia Way, to open two drop in emergency shelters in locations in Bellevue.

Thanks to the use of space at the Salvation Army and St. Peter’s United Methodist Church the Eastside is able to offer this life saving service.

With hundreds of people without shelter and a potential winter storm coming, shelter is a necessity for men, women and families alike.
