If you’ve got a little skater or hockey player at your house, take them to one of these quality ice rinks around the Sound. Recommended gear: gloves, and clothes in warm, stretchy layers. Tutus and hockey pads are optional.

Family owned and operated since 1962, Highland Ice Arena is open all year with public sessions daily. Freestyle Sessions are available for competitive skates, private rentals, party rates, a full service Pro Shop and Repair Shop. Sundays from 1:30pm to 8:00pm is Family Session. A $15.00 fee admits Mom, Dad and all the kids. There are also Special Group Rates for K-12 schools, scouts, day cares, day camps and churches. This special rate of $2.50 per person is available during Monday to Friday morning and afternoon sessions with a minimum of 10 skaters (pre-scheduling is required). Skates are $3/pair for any session.

$7.00/6 and Older Admission Only, $5.00/5 and under – Includes Admission and Skate Rental. Walkers are available to rent for kids 5 and under. Ask about Tuesday Cheap Night and Special prices on Saturdays and Sundays. Kids 4-12 can try hockey for FREE the first Sunday of each month! For your skating pleasure, Lynwood Ice Center offers public sessions 7 days a week. On Wednesdays, it’s Cheap Skate Night For $5.00 come join the fun from 7:00pm to 8:30pm for a well deserved mid-week break. On weekends, it’s Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon Public Skate Sessions…these sessions are perfect for the entire family, both young and old. Admission for public skate is $7/adults, $6/12 and under, FREE/5 and under, $6/seniors. Skate rentals are $3/pair.

Skate rental sizes range from 6 (Toddler) to 14 (Adult). Helmets are available to use upon request at no additional cost. The “On The Edge” Café and Bar features pizza, burgers, hot chocolate, espresso, wine and beer. Parents can watch all the action on the ice from the indoor seating. Check out the School’s Out Holiday Skate Sessions on the website for special priced skate days for kids. Admission is $8.45/adults, $7.31/ages 4-12, FREE/ages 3-under, $6.25/seniors. $3.20/pair of skate rental.

Sprinker Recreation Center is one of 20 clubs and facilities in the United Sates to receive the ‘Excellence on Ice’ designation from PSA, an international program for progressive training facilities. The facility is equipped with an NHL regulation ice surface, food concessions and lots more! Public skating sessions each day of the week.
