Seattle Is Second Most Literate City In U.S.

SEATTLE (CBS Seattle) – Seattle has been ranked the second most literate city in the nation for the second year in a row.

According to the study conducted by Central Connecticut State University, there are six indicators of literacy, all of which Seattle scored very high on: newspaper circulation, number of bookstores, library resources, periodical publishing resources, educational attainment, and Internet resources.
