Mudslide Hits Railroad Tracks Near Everett

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Sound Transit says a mudslide blocks the railroad tracks just south of Everett.

The agency says a 48-hour safety moratorium is taking effect Thursday morning for Sounder commuter trains between Seattle and Everett, so passengers are advised to take buses.
