New Shoe Drive for WA Foster Kids

If you’re out shopping for new spring clothes for your kids, why not pick up an extra pair of shoes for one of Washington’s nearly 20,000 foster kids? Sleep Country is hosting a shoe drive at all their WA stores.

Washington’s foster kids often walk a difficult path, leaving their homes with just the clothes on their backs. Like all children, they quickly outgrow essential items like shoes that fit, which allow them to walk to school comfortably, participate in P.E. class with their peers, and enjoy after school sports.

You can help give foster children a strong foundation for walking on the path to success by donating new shoes to Sleep Country’s Shoe Drive for Foster Kids. Sleep Country will be collecting new shoes in all sizes between Monday, March 19 and Sunday, May 13.

Donations of new shoes in all sizes can be dropped off at any Sleep Country store. To find the nearest location please visit the store locator HERE or call 800.88.SLEEP (75337). You can also make a cash donation online and Sleep Country representatives will shop on your behalf. All contributions are distributed among Sleep Country’s foster care partner organizations.
