Official: Judge Hurt In Attack At Montesano Courthouse

MONTESANO, Wash. (AP) — Emergency responders were dispatched to a report of an attack at a courthouse in Washington state.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Russ Winger said initial reports were a deputy and a judge had been wounded at the Grays County Courthouse in a shooting and stabbing Friday afternoon. Winger says he doesn’t know the extent of the injuries.

Authorities were looking for one man who is possibly armed with a pistol. Area buildings were on lockdown.

Montesano is about 90 miles southwest of Seattle.
