Guide to Seattle’s First Science Fiction Film Festival

Seattle’s Cinerama is thrilled to announce their First Annual Science Fiction Film Festival which will run April 19 – May 2. With some help from Seattle’s EMP Museum, you are invited to see 25 incredible science fiction titles which will include a NEW 70mm print of 2001: A Space Odyssey and screenings of Metropolis with accompaniment from the spectacular Alloy Orchestra. The 2001 showing will be one the Cinerama had made for this festival. It has never been run before and is unblemished.

Other films include: Tarkovskiy’s Solaris, the 1980s version of Flash Gordon, Close Encounters, ET, Road Warrior, Ghost Busters, Clockwork Orange, and many more. Tickets and a schedule are available online at http://www.cinerama.com.
