Seattle Center is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the 1962 World’s Fair. You’re invited to The Next 50 Opening Day on Saturday, April 21. It’s just the start of an engagement activity on the 21st of each month through October 21.

Opening Day will be filled with live entertainment, celebrity guests, special exhibits, food, fun and surprises! Activities begin at 10:00am at the International Fountain Pavilion, and continue all day until 5:00pm.

Some of what you will get to experience includes: 1962 World’s Fair Footage, local high school drum lines and marching bands, kids’ activities, food trucks, a beer garden, a zip line, live performances, and a skateboarding party!

The Children’s Museum Seattle in Seattle Center will be having several Twist and Shout Dance Parties and Rocket activities throughout the day for kids. Check out their April 21 schedule HERE.
