The Mariners enjoyed some early-summer Seattle sunshine this weekend at Safeco Field…and not much else as they were swept by the visiting Chicago White Sox, including Saturday’s hitless wonder:  Philip Humber threw the 21st perfect game in M.L.B. history, with the 22,472 on hand at The Safe in the bottom of the 9th on their feet as the White Sox hurler got his last three outs against their M’s, who have lost their last 4 games and begin a road trip Tuesday that takes them to Detroit, Toronto, and Tampa .  They’re back home Friday May 4th.
