Following Seattle Symphony’s acclaimed 2007 production of this concert-staged opera, the stunning sets — designed by artist Dale Chihuly ‐ have traveled to Milwaukee, Nashville and Tel Aviv, and will return to Benaroya Hall for this special engagement.

On Thursday, May 17, the Seattle Symphony will delight you with the only opera by composed by Béla Bartók. A castle filled with forbidden doors, a torture chamber, a jewel house, a garden and a lake of tears make for an eerie story about past lives and Bluebeard’s past wives.

Seattle Symphony staffers Amy Bokanev, Kelly Boston and Elizabeth Wormsbecker, all recent brides, play the roles of Bluebeard’s wives.

Tickets are available online HERE for the 7:30pm perfomance at Benaroya Hall on May 17. For more information, visit the website at http://www.seattlesymphony.org.

Benaroya Hall is located at:
