Dine out for a healthy and more equitable food system! On Monday, June 4 between 5:00pm and 10:00pm, Capitol Hill’s Plum Bistro will be hosting a fundraiser for the Northwest Farm Bill Action Group. Plum Bistro supports strong, sustainable local food systems, and the restaurant will be donating 30% of its profits from the evening.
All you have to do is enjoy a deliciously prepared meal! You’ll also be helping the Northwest Farm Bill Action Group continue its work providing resources to the community and facilitating discussion about our food system, with a focus on the upcoming 2012 Farm Bill. The Northwest Farm Bill Action Group is building a diverse alliance of people and organizations in the Pacific Northwest who advocate for a more healthy, sustainable, and equitable food system.
Plum Bistro is a fully organic vegan bistro serving fresh sustainable produce from local farms with a wide selection of gluten-free options. Their dinner menu includes burgers, pizzas, grilled veggies, pastas and salads.
