Saturday July 21st, Seattle’s Progressive Talk AM1090 Presents “Showdown 2012: Recapturing Democracy”… a progressive townhall forum examining the evolving role we as citizens play in the political and public policy process. The panel features top national progressive personalities including Thom Hartmann, Randi Rhodes, Norman Goldman, Mike Papantonio, Sam Seder and Ron Reagan.

With unlimited corporate campaign spending taking center-stage in the 2012 elections, individuals and grassroots organizations face an unprecedented uphill battle to make our voices heard amongst the “Super PACs” and un-ending corporate money. Our panel will layout the strategies we must follow, starting in our own communities, to protect our role in our democracy and build a better future for us all.
