New Wave Pool Opens in Tacoma June 23

The Kandle Pool is the new wave pool in Pierce County, and for its grand opening on Saturday, June 23, Metro Parks Tacoma is offering free admission all day! Festivities begin at 11:30am.

There will be live Caribbean music while you splash, bob and play in the pool, which has a gradual, beach type entry. The zero-slope is especially helpful for little ones and those with disabilities.

Plus, you’re welcome to enjoy an accessible playground, skate features, basketball courts, picnic tables and lush play fields. For more information, visit the Metro Parks Tacoma website at: http://www.metroparkstacoma.org.
