The Capitol Hill Block Party is a huge summer event over three days, with over 100 bands performing. Great food vendors, entertainment and more await you at this spectacular community event, now in its 16th year! There are three stages with continuous music, rain or shine – Friday, July 20 through Sunday, July 22 – in Seattle’s South Capitol Hill neighborhood. It’s a celebration of independent music and culture, thought, and progressive politics. You’ll find excellent independent craft booths, local non-profits, pro-music politicians, and fundraisers for neighborhood charities.
Just a taste of the musical lineup includes: Neko Case, Major Lazer, Fitz And The Tantrums, Diplo, Phantogram, The Lumineers, Grimes, Aesop Rock with Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz, Youth Lagoon, Thee Oh Sees, Cloud Nothings, Twin Shadow, Dam-Funk, Doomtree, Father John Misty and over 90 other great bands.

Getting There:
The main entrance to the Block Party is at E Pike Street & 12th Avenue. At this entrance you can purchase tickets, pick up will call tickets. There is another entrance on E Pine Street at 10th Avenue. There is no will call at this entrance, so if you have a ticket or want to purchase a ticket, you can enter at Pike and 10th. The Block Party is easy to get to via foot, bicycle or bus. Parking is limited.
Cost:
Three Day Passes are only $85. Individual day passes are $30. There will be no reissues for lost or stolen tickets. All sales are final. Rain or shine. Only cash at the box office. There are ATM’s within eye site from every entrance.
Food and Drink:
There is an eclectic selection of food from festival vendors and food trucks, as well as great food at the local restaurants. Plus two great beer gardens, and several bars inside the festival perimeter like Big Mario’s, The Comet, Cha Cha, Wild Rose, and Moe Bar. You must be 21 or older and have a current, valid ID to drink alcohol.
