‘Fifty Shades’ Author to Visit Seattle

The “Fifty Shades of Grey” author E L James will soon make her first visits to two hotspots featured in her erotic trilogy: Seattle and Portland.

Vintage Books announced Thursday that the Britain-based writer is including the two Pacific Northwest cities on a tour this fall to promote her multimillion-selling novels. James will appear at Seattle’s Third Place Books on Saturday, September 22 at 5:00pm and at Portland’s Powell’s Books on Monday, September 24.

According to Third Place Books’s website, you must have a ticket to attend the book signing in Seattle, and there are a small number of available tickets. You can either get a ticket by purchasing any 50 Shades trilogy book in person at the bookstore or over the phone. Or you can bring your own, previously purchased 50 Shades book and get a ticket from Third Place Books when you arrive. Then get in line at the book signing line. Only one ticket per person will be accepted. Up to three books in the triology may be signed per person. There are no posed pictures at the event.
