SEATTLE (AP) — Some of the warmest weather of the summer so far in Washington is forecast for this weekend.
The National Weather Service says after a cloudy Thursday, the sun should break through Friday in Western Washington with clear skies allowing temperatures to rise into the 80s Saturday and Sunday.
Conditions should be ideal for weekend hydroplane racing and Blue Angels air shows at Lake Washington during Seattle’s Seafair celebration.
Forecasters say skies are already clear in Eastern Washington with temperatures in the 80s Thursday, climbing into the 90s through the weekend into Monday.
