SEATTLE (AP) — A man who pleaded guilty in the hit-and-run death of a bicycle rider in Seattle has been sentenced to more than three years in prison.
Twenty-eight-year-old Erlin Garcia-Reyes was arrested in June and pleaded guilty last month to felony hit-and-run for the accident in July 2011 that killed Michael Wang. He was sentenced Friday to 41 months in prison.
The 44-year-old Wang was a photographer who worked for PATH, a Seattle-based world health organization. He commuted by bike to his home in suburban Shoreline.
