Just a short road trip from Seattle, the weekend is awaiting! Filled with music, wine, art, kids’ activites, farmer’s markets, and festivals galore! Here are some of our favorites!

The Uptown Street Fair
Saturday, August 18

The annual Uptown Street Fair includes great local music, the Port Townsend Arts & Crafts Fair, the Jefferson County Farmers’ Market, tasty food on the street, free art activities, live music, and kids’ activities. Plus, the “Grandly Local” Parade at 1:00pm. Spend a gorgeous day in Port Townsend.

Jazz and Oysters

This year’s Jazz and Oysters celebrates its 27th year at a new location! Same great music, fun, and food, but located at the off of Sandridge Road in Ocean Park Washington. The site transforms into a jazz club and hosts an array of delectable delights including oysters, desserts, drinks, and sausages. The event is on Sunday, August 19 from 12-7 pm. Admission is $20, free admission to children under 6. Come out and enjoy an afternoon of fun in the sun while enjoying a magical day of great Jazz and food.

Kitsap Wine Festival

Come for an afternoon of wine tasting and fun wine related items. The local selection of restaurants features lots of culinary variety. At the Summer Sipper Bar, guests will be able to sample Rieslings, rosés and sparkling wines side-by-side from many of the participating wineries. Plus, Silverdale’s Silver City Brewery and Bremerton’s Der Blokken Brewery offer a selection of their favorite brews, and a local coffee vendor too can make you a delicious iced latte. Come enjoy the live jazz entertainment, too. Proceeds benefit the Harrison Medical Center Foundation.

Blues and Seafood

11th Annual Leavenworth Wine Tasting Festival

This popular annual festival lets you sample Washington Wines in a unique mountain environment. Enjoy live entertainment while you taste wines from local and regional wineries. Olalla Bluegrass and Beyond Festival

Central WA Farm Equipment Expo

A large display of antique farm equipment and demonstrations of actual usage: wheat threshing, blacksmithing, sawmill, homemade bread, homemade ice cream and watermelon booth. A parade of antique tractors, farm equipment, and trucks. Admission also covers entrance to a large flea market of 100 vendors in Fullbright Park.
