Celebrate Seattle: Two Anniversaries, One Special Night at McCaw Hall

Join in a futuristic extravaganza at McCaw Hall on Sunday, September 16 at 6:00pm. There will be music, dance, video, song and special guests celebrating the Pacific Northwest Ballet’s 40th anniversary, and the 50th anniversary of the Seattle World’s Fair!

Celebrate Seattle will highlight PNB’s incredible dancers, the PNB Orchestra featuring music from Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Silvestre’s Back to the Future, Dvorak’s Song to the Moon and more, including:

Meeting astronaut William Anders, who flew to the moon on Apollo 8, and Cady Coleman, an astronaut who flew aboard the Space Shuttle Columbia.

Watching NASA’s film Mars Curiosity.

Meeting special guests Lt. Uhura, Nichelle Nichols from Star Trek and NASA’s Mohawk Guy, Bobak Ferdowsi.

Watching a video history of the building of the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair.

Seeing Angry Birds at the Seattle Center.
