Sunday, September 9 is National Grandparents’ Day! President Jimmy Carter signed the proclamation creating a special day for grandparents in 1979. Here are some fun ways to celebrate with your grandparents in the Seattle area.

Take a 75 minute ride aboard real antique railroad coaches. The five mile trip trip departs from Snoqualmie Depot or North Bend Depot. $12/adults, $10/seniors, $8/ages 2 to 12, free/younger than age 2.
