PORTLAND, Ore. (CBS Seattle/AP) — Police say a pair of Portland-area men are responsible for selling more than $1 million in stolen goods on eBay, including high-end guitars, cameras and computers.

KOIN-TV reports the investigation began when a Guitar Center employee noticed a $2,750 guitar missing from the store. He later discovered it on eBay.

Detectives say the same eBay account sold $1 million in goods since 2008.

Beaverton police tell KOIN that arrested 30-year-old Ramuiel Talpas and 32-year-old Daniel Dan after serving search warrants at their homes. They believe a total of four people were involved in the theft ring.

Authorities say nearly $20,000 worth of stolen goods were found at the suspects’ homes.
