If you’re ready to strap on some skates, and roll the night away with your favorite tunes and a whirling disco ball, we’re ready to go with you! Here are some of our favorite skating rinks in Puget Sound. Grab your kids and head out for some fun!

This roller rink has been in Seattle for over 70 years! Southgate offers beginning skate classes, as well as teen nights, adult nights (with beer available for purchase), derby nights (faster skating), family skate, and a monthly Pride Skate (first Wednesdays). There’s Free Skate Rental if during all skate sessions, and private parties are available anytime that does not conflict with public skate sessions. Since 1974, Skate King in Bellevue has been turning the disco ball and playing the hits. With skating lessons, public skating times, family skate nights, birthday parties and an in-line hockey league, there’s something for every age and ability. You can rent skates at the rink, from kids’ size 7 to men’s size 15, or bring your own. There are retro nights (with hits you remember from high school) and nights just for the under 17 set. Plus daytime skating for the little ones and their care givers. Everett’s Skate Deck, around since 1961, offers a wide variety of skating for novices and experts alike. Beginner classes are offered for those just learning to skate. Quads and inline skates are available to rent. Watch top hit videos and sporting events on the large screen televisions. Skate under sophisticated lights and a mirrored disco ball. The young ones will enjoy sliding and bouncing on their giant inflatable toys. Quench your thirst or grab a snack at their concession stand. KING 5′s Evening Magazine named Pattison’s Best Place for Kids. Pattison’s is a great, affordable place to host a birthday party, with packages available. Quad and inline skates are available for rent, plus the arcade and sit-down snack bar will keep your family entertained and well fed. Come take skate lessons from expert skaters, or check out the 18 and over sessions every Wednesday and Sunday from 8:30pm-11:30pm.
