SEATTLE (AP) — One man was wounded and a suspect was arrested shortly after a shooting and robbery in downtown Seattle Friday morning, police said.
Spokesman Mark Jamieson said it began as an attempted robbery at a jewelry store near Westlake Center around 10:30 a.m.
A video posted by KIRO News shows a man in a ski mask being tackled on the street by another man and then held down by a group of other men who came in to help. The video, shot by a cameraman who was outside the federal courthouse, also shows the man who tackled the suspect with a bloodied hand and grimaced from his wound.

The suspect ran and shot a man on the street, Jamieson said. The suspect was arrested about a block away on Stewart Street near the courthouse, police said.
The fire department says the shooting victim, a man in his 30s, was hit in his hand. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
With three crime scenes, it will take detectives a while to determine exactly what happened, authorities said.
Police and the U.S. Marshals Service said the shooting did not involve the courthouse.
